“Growing up bi-culturally in Bulgaria and Germany I learned to de-code culture in early teenage years without knowing the terms or models for cross-cultural comparison. Later during my university studies I learned about all the theories, so finally I had a tag for what I´ve experienced so far. Working in a multinational corporation enhanced the multicultural experience by delivering trainings internationally and working in multicultural teams. The expat stay in Sydney, Australia had further impact on my identity as a cosmopolitan person shifting between identities – during this period I got to know the concept of Third culture kids (TCK) and was fascinated by the book. As a trainer working in international environment I feel I can draw so much from life experience – examples come so easy, not from the books but based on personal stories.”
